Subject: AArch64 CI loop

Hi Infrastructure,

I would like to pursue the same task as MrAsanjar [1]. I.e. Providing the support to include a non-x86 architecture into the Apache Hadoop CI infrastructure. In my case, I'd like to facilitate AArch64 automatic and continuous build/test - and would like to know how best I can contribute to this goal.

With best regards,
Richard

The thread you linked ended in the two messages below, suggesting an
INFRA ticket would be better than a list mail, and that it may take a while.

He did create an INFRA ticket.

@MrAsanjar it has been noted and added to the queue. However, do note that
there are currently a small number of people to work on INFRA tasks, so
getting the time to work on your power added to builds cluster tasks might
be delayed.

I would suggest you either mail infrastructure@, or better, create an
INFRA ticket in JIRA. This list isn't used much anymore, and I suspect
isn't where the infrastructure team hang out.

Excellent!

I've moved to an INFRA ticket.
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-12439
I'll attend to any questions and requests there;

Thanks for the guidance!
Best regards,
Richard
